By opting in to PREPARIFIED SMS Emergency Alerts, you agree to receive text messages related to emergency alerts, preparedness reminders, and account notifications from Prepared Bear, LLC at the phone number you provide.
Message frequency varies based on active hazards in your area and your alert preferences; typical non-emergency use is a few messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase or account creation for non-emergency features.
Opt-out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving SMS messages. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also manage SMS preferences from within the app.
Supported carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Coverage and delivery are not guaranteed in all areas or conditions.

Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in status are used solely to deliver the emergency alerts and preparedness notifications you've requested.
No sharing for marketing. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your number may be shared with our SMS delivery provider solely to transmit messages on our behalf.
Retention. We retain your phone number and opt-in status for as long as your account remains active or until you opt out.

How do I opt in?
Check the SMS opt-in box during Early Access signup, or enable SMS alerts from Settings inside the app.
How do I opt out?
Reply STOP to any PREPARIFIED text message, or turn off SMS alerts in the app's Settings.
Are message and data rates charged?
Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
