These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PREPARIFIED website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Prepared Bear, LLC ("PREPARIFIED," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. Households may add dependents and minors to a shared emergency plan under an adult account holder's supervision.

The Service. PREPARIFIED provides emergency preparedness planning tools, alert aggregation, an AI-powered Readiness Assistant, and community coordination features. The Service is a preparedness and guidance tool — it is not a substitute for official instructions from emergency management authorities, first responders, or law enforcement. Always follow official evacuation orders and instructions from local authorities.

Readiness Assistant guidance. Guidance provided by the Readiness Assistant is generated from verified data sources and a structured rule framework. It is provided "as is" for informational purposes and does not constitute professional emergency management, medical, legal, or insurance advice.

Accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the Service, including submitting false emergency information, harassing other community members, or attempting to disrupt the platform's operation.

GO Depot purchases. Products purchased through the GO Depot are fulfilled by third-party suppliers. Product availability, pricing, shipping, and returns are governed by the applicable supplier's terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PREPARIFIED disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including reliance on guidance provided during an emergency.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This Privacy Policy explains how Prepared Bear, LLC collects, uses, and protects information when you use PREPARIFIED.

Information we collect. Account information (name, email, phone), household and emergency plan details you provide, location data (with permission) to deliver location-aware alerts, device and usage information, and communications with your Readiness Assistant.

How we use information. To provide personalized emergency guidance and alerts, to connect you with your household and community, to improve the Readiness Assistant's accuracy, and to communicate service updates.

Location data. Location is used to determine hazard proximity and tailor alerts and guidance. You can disable location access in your device settings, which may limit alert accuracy.

Sharing of information. We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help operate the platform (hosting, SMS delivery, mapping), with your explicit consent (e.g., sharing your plan with family contacts), and where required by law.

Data security. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention. We retain account and plan information for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with legal obligations.

Your choices. You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time from within the app, or by contacting info@preparified.com.

Children's privacy. The Service is not directed to children under 13. Dependents may be added to a household plan only by an adult account holder.

PREPARIFIED's Readiness Assistant ("R.A.") uses artificial intelligence to deliver personalized, real-time emergency preparedness and response guidance.

How guidance is generated. The R.A.'s recommendations are grounded in verified sources — including NOAA, FEMA, and certified emergency management frameworks — and validated against a structured, auditable rule framework before being delivered. Our patent-pending Core Integrity™ architecture is designed so the AI never acts alone: every recommendation passes through rule-based validation.

Not a replacement for official instructions. The R.A. is a decision-support tool. In any active emergency, always follow instructions from local emergency management officials, first responders, and law enforcement, even if they differ from R.A. guidance.

Limitations. AI-generated guidance may not account for every circumstance. If something the R.A. tells you seems unsafe or doesn't match conditions you observe, trust your judgment and official sources first.

Human oversight. Our rule frameworks are developed and reviewed with emergency management input, and we continually audit R.A. outputs for accuracy and safety.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you specific rights over your personal data.

Legal basis for processing. We process your data based on your consent, the necessity of processing to provide the Service you've requested, and our legitimate interest in improving preparedness guidance and platform safety.

Your rights. You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact info@preparified.com.

International transfers. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
